Our Suppliers

Supporting many local producers, suppliers and small businesses our shop stocks:

- Meats, cheeses, pies and more from Inghams Butchers

- Artisan baked goods

- Fresh cakes and brownies

- Fresh locally sourced fruit and vegetables

- Glass bottled milk, milkshakes and juices

Our large wine offering is sourced and supplied by Byrnes of Clitheroe.

Our beers and lagers offer both a range popular brands along with Craft Ales and Ciders from either local breweries or from breweries specialising in Vegan, Organic or Gluten Free.

The convenience side of the village shop has a wide range of canned and dried goods, drinks, household goods and confectionery.

We also stock high quality sustainable products to help combat waste and plastic pollution. This includes bamboo toothbrushes, compostable cleaning cloths, plastic free toiletries and wooden washing up brushes.

We like to look after our loyal customers and so, right from the outset, we have operated a loyalty scheme giving you 1p in the pound back whenever you shop with us.

Its easy - ask at the till for a Loyalty Card and we'll load it up with points every time you shop.We only record your name and postcode, just so that if you loose your card we can get you a brand new one and transfer your points . We will never use your data for any other purpose.

You then also use the same card when you take out books and jigsaws from the library.

Did you know?

Our village community shop is run entirely by volunteers and our ethos is that wherever possible we will seek to reduce packaging and avoid single-use plastic.

In total over 60 volunteers from the village and surrounding areas regularly give up their time to help run the shop.

We have our Volunteer Co-ordinator who coordinates all our volunteers, takes care of their training and well being.

We are also an approved placement for Kickstart, Prince’s Trust and  DofE (Duke of Edinburgh) young people.

Our 'Filling Station' is dedicated to zero packaging with over 250 lines including laundry products, herbs, spices, dried foods , tea , coffee beans etc  where you can buy just the amount you require using your own container, paper bags or purchase one of our jars /bottles.
